The Americaire Automobile Air Filter is specifically designed for use in your car. It hangs from the back of the seat and takes up virtually no space. It has one filter that uses an amazing 3 stage filtration process: Stage 1 is a woven polyester filter media with activated carbon for odors and large particles; Stage 2 is a charged filter media that attracts and holds sub-micron particles; Stage 3 is a polyester filter with zeolite to absorb gaseous contaminants.
Dimensions: 3 1/2" height , 2" deep, 8" diameter, 3 1/2 in heighth. Housing is made of steel with an enamel coating.
Filter should be changed roughly every six months, depending on exposure to pollutants. The filter cleans the air of dust, pollen cigarette smoke, and vehicle emissions as well as other particulates.
